Phillips: The Sound of Creation
A friend on facebook shared this and need to make a note of it so here it is.
Phillips tell the story of sound through 9 overlapping sound & video bites that can be controlled using the keyboard numericals 1-9. A great interactive site to create your own track. They all work brilliantly. I just wish the sounds faded when you clicked on them so not to jerk when clicked.
here's a link to the site.

RCA Ide
From the 1st October I will attending the Innovation Design Engineering course at the Royal College. As part of my preparation I've been doing some background reading on the course, the alumni, current trends and current practices across many fields.
This new promotional video of the course sums it up better than I can and also offers an insight into the different types of work produced there.
I will be writing up or posting an idea/thought here everyday leading up to the course to get those neurons working again after a rather relaxing 2 weeks of summer.

Start With Why
The guy I've been working withover the last month, Jason Dragos has lent me the book "Start With Why"..
It's really captured my imagination and made sense of a lot of what I studied during my time at Kingston.
It brings to the fore the importance of WHY in business, innovation and getting people inspired.
Martin Lutha King did it, The Wright Brothers did it and Steve Jobs did it.
I've got a feeling its going to be a book I read more than once.

Unfortunate Google StreetView
Here's a few great fragments of Google StreetView picking up on camera mishaps. The double shadowed dog and strawberry point are my favourites.
