Jasper Goodall.
I've been researching website layouts today and Jasper Goodalls' is beauutiful, not to mention his work that accompanies it.
I really really would like one of his prints. especially one of the Dakinis ones. £175 though, not anytime soon.. Anyway thought I'd share.

4 helpful webdesign sites
My web design tutorials start tomorrow so I thought I'd do some research and practice some stuff on the program as well as layout.
So here they are,
- How to make a website in flash (albeit a terribly designed one)
- My friend from foundation is curating the Graphic Design/Illustration website for Brighton Uni; the alumni section is a great source for inspiration in layout.
(maybe one more for after lunch...fade in effect
Web Design
This week, I'll be learning the basics of Adobe Flash, how to create buttons, links and other simple webpage visuals.
I downloaded a trial version of Flash for the computer to help me on my way, It looks like something I've used before so lets hope I can pick it up quite quickly.
Was thinking about domain names and preferably I'd like my name in it. Unfortunately, afwiltshire.co.uk is already taken by a family run business in Surrey, just down the road..
Maybe they'll want to swap, if not ashleyfwiltshire.com is a possibility. I reckon I'll spend the rest of the day designing layouts and headers.
Billys Farm
The idea that UFO's are flying over area 51, explosions, the year is 2012, shit! Is the world ending?! No, Billy's doing some midnight clay pigeon shooting..

Moving Image
Remade our moving image project on the theme of 'escalation' this weekend. Had a lot of fun. We completely changed our theme as what we did well, was pretty dire.
Tried our hand at a stop frame animation using b&w card. Duck-taping my camera to the kitchen shelf was risky and the non stop moving of tiny bits of paper for hours was definitely worth it.
Currently editing it but don't have the right software on my pc :( so here's just a screenshot from Billys farm.
(well blogger wont upload my images due to internal errors, will upload later)
